By offering a wide array of staff benefits, organising engaging events, partnering on community projects, and driving charitable initiatives, the Institute strives to make a meaningful and lasting difference both internally and in society at large.Caring for CommunityIn line with its commitment to social responsibility and environmental sustainability, HKIB undertakes various initiatives that positively impact both the community and workplace alike. In November 2024, HKIB launched a Clothes Donation Programme with the Salvation Army, where donors of three or more items received reusable cutlery sets as a token of appreciation, reinforcing sustainability and community spirit.Additionally, a recycling and waste management initiative was introduced to improve environmental practices, requiring all food and wet waste to be disposed of at a central collection point. Designated recycling bins for paper, aluminium cans, and glass or plastic bottles have been placed throughout the premises, encouraging staff to take responsibility for proper waste sorting and disposal.ACcelerate Programme學會深切履行社會責任,優先考慮其僱員及所支援社區的福祉。學會透過提供多元化的員工福利、舉辦精彩活動、參與社區項目及推動慈善活動,在學會內部和整個社會中帶來具意義和持久的影響。關懷社區學會秉持對社會責任及環境可持續發展的承諾,推行各項措施,為社區及工作場所帶來正面影響。2024年11月,學會與救世軍合作推出「衣物捐贈計劃」捐贈三件或以上衣物的捐贈者獲贈可重複使用的餐具套裝,以表謝意進一步推動可持續發展及社區凝聚力。此外,為改善環保措施,我們推出回收及廢物管理計劃要求所有廚餘及濕廢物均須在中央收集點棄置。處所設有指定的廢紙、鋁罐、玻璃瓶或膠樽回收箱,以鼓勵員工負責妥善分類和棄置廢物。ACcelerate課程社會SocialHKIB continues its role as programme administrator for the ACcelerateCertificate Programme, an initiative dedicated to empowering senior female leaders across the financial services sector and wider professional community. Designed to accelerate the progression of women into senior executive and C-suite roles in Hong Kong, the programme reflects a strong commitment to leadership diversity.Staff CommunicationsHKIB emphasises regular communication to foster a transparent and inclusive workplace culture. At the 2024 Staff Townhall, we highlighted our key achievements from the past year, reinforcing our collective progress and setting the stage for future success. We also outlined our strategic direction for 2025, ensuring all staff are aligned with our goals.Additionally, we introduced a new initiative where every employee participated in video presentations during the Townhall to share their personal contributions to the Institute. This initiative celebrated individual successes and strengthened team spirit and mutual appreciation across HKIB.學會繼續擔任「ACcelerate課程」的管理人該課程專為賦能金融服務業以至各專業領域的女性高層領導而設。此計劃旨在協助香港女性擔任高層管理及領導職位,體現了對領導層多元化的堅定承諾。員工溝通學會重視定期溝通,以培養透明和具包容性的工作文化。2024年員工Townhall回顧了過去一年的主要成就,確立了學會的整體發展,並為未來的發展奠定了堅實基礎。我們亦概述了2025年的策略方向,確保全體員工與學會的目標一致。此外,我們推出了一項新舉措,讓每位員工在Townhall上參與錄製影片分享其對學會的個人貢獻。此舉措旨在表揚個人成就,強化學會成員之間的凝聚力和相互認同。
