60香港銀行學會年報二○二四The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers Annual Report 2024Administration and Finance CommitteeThe Administration and Finance (A&F) Committee reports to the Executive Committee on matters relating to the administration and finance of the Institute. It also provides recommendations to the Executive Committee on administrative policies, funding, and expenses concerning the Institute’s Secretariat. Additionally, the A&F Committee plays a crucial part in preparing the annual budget for the Institute, which requires approval from the Executive Committee. Moreover, the Committee is responsible for examining and approving HKIB’s accounts and projections on a quarterly basis.The A&F Committee is composed of a minimum of five members. Out of these members, at least three should also be current members of the Executive Committee. The Committee includes a Chairperson and the Honorary Treasurer of HKIB. The Chairperson can be either the Honorary Secretary of the Institute or any other member appointed by the Executive Committee.China Development CommitteeThe China Development Committee (CDC) reports to the Executive Committee on matters concerning the Institute’s development in the Greater China region. This includes policies related to talent development and monitoring the implementation of continued professional development for Members. The CDC also plays a crucial role in reviewing and providing advice on new initiatives, projects, and mutual recognition agreements with institutions in the region. Furthermore, the Committee acts as a facilitator, establishing communication channels between HKIB and the banking sector, as well as non-bank financial institutions in Greater China.Financial Technology CommitteeThe Financial Technology Committee (FTC) reports to the Executive Committee on matters pertaining to financial technology (Fintech) competence within the banking and financial industry. Apart from advising the Executive Committee on emerging Fintech practices, trends, and regulatory issues, the Committee also identifies talent cultivation needs in the Fintech field and provides insights on the development of Fintech-related training programmes and continuing professional development activities, including conferences, seminars, and industry awards. Furthermore, the Committee assists HKIB in establishing partnerships and collaborations within the local and internationalFintechcommunity.UndertheguidanceoftheExecutiveCommittee, the FTC supports the Institute in undertaking Fintech initiatives and supervises the roles and responsibilities of the Financial Technology Advisory Panel.行政及財務委員會行政及財務委員會向理事會匯報有關學會行政及財務的事宜，亦就學會秘書處的行政政策、資金和開支向理事會提出建議。此外，行政及財務委員會在編製學會年度預算時發揮十分重要的作用，並需要獲得理事會批准。另外，委員會每季負責審批學會的賬目和預測。行政及財務委員會由至少五名成員組成。在這些成員中至少三人應是理事會的現任成員。委員會成員包括學會主席及榮譽司庫。主席可以是學會的榮譽秘書，亦可以是理事會委任的任何其他成員。內地發展委員會內地發展委員會就學會在大中華地區的發展事宜向理事會匯報。這包括有關人才發展的政策，以及監督為會員提供持續專業發展的情況。內地發展委員會在審核新舉措、項目以及與區內機構的互認協議並提供建議方面亦發揮著重要的作用。此外，委員會充當協調者，在學會與銀行業及大中華區非銀行金融機構之間建立溝通渠道。金融科技委員會金融科技委員會向理事會匯報有關銀行及金融業金融科技能力的事宜。除就新興的金融科技實踐、趨勢和監管問題向理事會提供建議外，委員會亦確定金融科技領域的人才培養需求，並就金融科技相關培訓課程和持續專業發展活動（包括會議、研討會和行業頒獎活動）的發展提供見解。此外，委員會協助學會在本地和國際金融科技界建立夥伴和合作關係。在理事會的指導下，金融科技委員會支持學會開展金融科技舉措，並監督金融科技顧問小組的角色和職責。
