                                    香港銀行學會年報二○二四The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers Annual Report 202461未來銀行業委員會未來銀行業委員會向理事會匯報有關未來銀行業發展倡議的事宜,包括確定業內當前和未來的人才和技能缺口。委員會亦在指導提升專業能力的策略以支持銀行業的可持續發展,以及促進業界溝通與合作方面發揮至關重要的作用。未來銀行業委員會由至少七名成員組成包括名主席和名副主席。主席由理事會委任,而副主席則由未來銀行業委員會主席選定。此外,未來銀行業委員會主席可委任至少五名其他委員會成員。會籍及專業發展委員會會籍及專業發展委員會向理事會匯報有關香港銀行學會會籍和專業發展的事宜,在制定會員招募、留聘和學會持續專業發展的策略和政策方面扮演著重要的角色。會籍及專業發展委員會就專業資格向理事會提出建議並積極推動和監察持續專業發展計劃。此外,委員會亦確保專業發展活動的品質,並為策略營銷計劃提供指引,以提升學會的企業形象。委員會負責推出新的專業教育、培訓和發展計劃,藉此滿足銀行業和監管機構的需求。另外,會籍及專業發展委員會亦負責審查為會員提供的專業發展活動,並監督出版事務委員會的工作。Future Banking CommitteeThe Future Banking Committee (FBC) reports to the Executive Committee on matters relating to future banking development initiatives. This includes identifying both current and future talent and skill gaps within the industry. The Committee also plays a crucial role in guiding capacity building strategies to support the sustainable development of the banking industry and fostering communication and collaboration within the sector.The FBC is composed of a minimum of seven Members, including a Chairperson and a Deputy Chairperson. The appointment of the Chairperson is made by the Executive Committee, while the Deputy Chairperson is selected by the FBC Chairperson. Additionally, the FBC Chairperson appoints at least five other Members to the Committee.Membership and Professional Development CommitteeThe Membership and Professional Development Committee (MPDC) reports to the Executive Committee on matters concerning the membership and professional development of HKIB. It plays a crucial role in formulating strategies and policies for membership recruitment, retention, and the Institute’s continuing professional development. The MPDC offers recommendations to the Executive Committee regarding professional qualifications and actively promotes and monitors the Continued Professional Development Schemes.Moreover, the Committee ensures the quality of professional development activities and provides guidance on strategic marketing plans to enhance the Institute’s corporate profile. It introduces new professional education, training, and development programs tailored to meet the needs of the banking industry and regulatory bodies. Additionally, the MPDC undertakes reviews of professional development activities offered to members and oversees the Publications Sub-Committee.
